COVID-19 Closure information and Online ordering

Auckland Camera Centres staff and customers health and wellbeing are our priority. Our physical store located at 646 New North Road will be fully closed from 26th March onwards until further notice (ONLINE INCLUDED) in light of the annoucement by the government of COVID 19 being rasied to level 4 and the state of national emergency.

Auckland Camera Centre Extended Warranty Information



Q: Can you please leave my order in my post box or on my door step if I am not home?
A: All of our courier shipments require a signature on your end so this is not possible.

Q: Your prices are very low compared to other stores, are your products parallel imported?
A: All of our cameras and lenses are sourced from offical NZ distributors with New Zealand Manufacturing warranties, some accessory products we import such as lens caps and cleaning products.

Q: Do your prices include GST?
A: Yes all our listed prices are GST inclusive.

Q: Are your website prices the same as your showroom prices?
A: Yes.

Q: I have some questions about your Warranty Extention, where can I find out more information?
A: You can see our warranty extention information form HERE.

Q: Do you have finance options available?
A: We reccomend Credit Capable Finance. If you wish to purchase an item(s) (minimum $500) please contact us or click HERE to apply online. For business owners or professionals we reccomend
FLEXIRENT. Customers can also use QCARD but only in-store and 2.5% will be added to the cost of the goods.

Q: Do you develop, process or print photos?
A: Not at the moment. However, we recommend PCL Imaging for developing films and printing digital images. Click

Q: Can you sell used photographic gear or equipment on my behalf?
A: Yes, we can sell used goods.  Please contact Nick or Rod for details.

Q: Do you sell film?
A: Yes, please check our consumables section for all the different types we sell. We stock a range of film, paper, chemistry and accessories for filmies.

Q: Do you offer international delivery for online orders?
A: Our shopping cart only allows for online orders to be ordered and shipped within New Zealand.  If you are outside of New Zealand please email us to organise international orders.

Q: Can you do Tax or Duty free ?
A: Yes, but this cannot be done through our online shopping system.  Please contact us for further details.

Q: I have some old photographic equipment or an older film camera I wish to get rid of, will you buy it?
A: Possibly, please contact us to discuss.

Q: Do you take photographic equipment trade-ins?
A: Yes, please contact us to discuss.


Q: I have set up a customer login and ordered product, how long does it take to verify my account?
A: As soon as you supply us with information we require to verify your account.

Q: Once I have set up my account and become verified do I need to repeat the verification process for every order?
A: No, the verification process only happens once when you create an account and place your first order. You will not be asked to do it again, unless we ask you for security reasons.

Q: I am an existing customer and purchased products from you previously, why am I required to undergo verification?
A: If you have purchased from us before and your details are in our system, please reply to the verification email with either your customer code or an invoice number. If your details match, we will instantly verify you.

Q: Why do I have to create a customer log-in and then verify it for online purchasing from the website?
A: There are many benefits for customers. We are able to track your purchases and offer additional services. The verification process also provides security when buying online.

Q: I purchased a memory card, filter, camera bag or accessory online but it is not suitable or I chose the wrong type, can I return it for the correct product or have my money back?
A: Yes, the product must still be in its original packaging and have  tags attached etc.


Q: Do you do repairs?
A: Cameras must be sent back to the respective manufacturer or NZ distributor for repair. We can in some situations organise or recommend options for repair of film or vintage cameras.

Q: My digital SLR has spots over the images, I have been told this is because the sensor is dirty, can you clean this for me?
A: Yes, we offer a DSLR sensor cleaning service and sell products for you to do it yourself. If you want your camera's sensor cleaned we charge from $65 including GST and the service has a 24 hour turn around. We also sell wet sensor cleaning kits from $49.
